Tall, handsome with lovely physique, actor of ‘Yuva’, Karthik Shetty is making waves. He has learnt the mixed martial art form Mua Thai in Singapore for four months and participating in four action scenes in his second film ‘Karthik’ that is settled for 20 days shooting from June 1 at Manchina Bale Dam where R.6 lakh set erected by art director Krishnachari is the cynosure.

With the backdrop of a hill, river and huge greenery this location was selected after visiting four different places that include Kashmir.

A duet song at this place featuring Karthik and Archana Gupta was in progress with Manjunath Naik heading the camera. This six lakhs set made in wood built at a height is the place of living of the protagonist Karthik with his mother Sudha Belawadi for the film.

Actor Karthik Shetty in his title role thanks media for the phenomenal response he got for his ‘Yuva’ film that is ready with dubbing version in Hindi. He is anxious to know the marker response in Bollywood for his debut film. Now in his second Kannada film Karthik says there is not much of blood shed in ‘Karthik’. There is mother and son sentiment, romantic moments, good action and the contents are well packed says Karthik.

“There are four varieties of stunts but there is one very chilling not tried out so far. I do not want to mention it. It is exiting to watch on the screen”, says Karthik.
